In designing the typefaces I used for the Nomad logo I sought to maintain a certain degree of geometric integrity so that the lettering was balanced while at the same time trying to capture the old world feel that the craft of bookbinding can represent. Additional imagery was created using old maps to help emphasize the business’ local roots.
